Hot

It's been hot in Oakland the past few days. How hot was it? Hot enough to pick up a salad and head to Lake Merritt for an evening picnic. Hot enough to turn my fan on. Hot enough to need only a single long sleeve shirt at the A's game on Tuesday. Hot enough to wear shorts. And hot enough that they closed a few branches of the Oakland Public Library. Buildings using natural ventilation are great for the environment, not so great if you were planning to check out a book.

Tomorrow's forecast - mid seventies. Let's hope so!
