Clear Air

The cool temperatures in the Bay Area have been accompanied by some clear air. Air so clear I can see Francisco, I can see the windows on all the buildings in San Francisco, I can see the people working in the windows in San Francisco (OK not quite that clear). But clear enough that everything is very vivid it's like getting new glasses. With my dad in town we've been wandering around looking at birds. This is a picture I took of an Egret at a park down by the airport where we saw thousands of ducks and shorebirds. But only a handful of egrets.
