When the crossing arms go down....
the train is moving at a fast rate of speed. Someone who has reached 87 years of age you would think would have enough life experience not to cross the train track when the train is coming. You're 87 you're not moving that fast and where do you need to get to in such a hurry that you can't wait two minutes for the train to pass, or even 15 if it's a long freight train. I do feel very sorry for the grief this woman's family will face. But this was a completely avoidable accident. It never ceases to amaze me that people think it's OK to ignore the big flashing lights and warning gate that means a train is coming .
