Not what I was expecting to say

At the risk of alienating most of my friends I'm just going to come out and admit that I got a new computer, it has Windows Vista and... I like it. It's fast, it's pretty, it's easily customizable. I plugged everything in and it all worked immediately, half an hour after taking it out of the box it was up and running, and running well. If a program crashes you just restart that program, not the whole computer, if you run an update on a program it just closes and reopens the piece it needs, you don't always have to restart the whole computer. I'm still figuring out how things work and how to make it look and feel exactly the way I want but I'm confident it will get there. The machine itself is nice too. It has a slot for my camera card right in the front where it's easy to reach, it has a portable hard drive I can yank out, they say it gets TV but I haven't tried that yet. The best part is it's a normal consumer computer not something you have to be a tech geek to figure out. Windows Vista - believe it or not it works.
