Return of the Stone Fruits

Summer is in full swing and it's prime time at the JLS Farmer's Market! I walked over to the market thinking I'd pick up some strawberries and maybe a few zucchini. Somehow I'd forgotten it's summer - the market at it's best. Oh the thrill of buying bagfuls of plums, apricots and nectarines! The plums are at their sweetest and juiciest right now. Though I think the best of the apricots are actually over. And the nectarines are just starting. It's definitely summer, the best time of year. The summer squash are pretty fantastic right now too.
