November Pursuits

November hails as National Novel Writing Month. The idea being to inspire people everywhere to write a 175 page novel in 30 days. Quite an ambitious task and likely to be completed by the few who start. But I like the idea, even if most don't finish a novel. The positive energy of the process, all the ideas produced, time spent creating instead of destroying, it must be good for the world. It's more about producing quantity than quality, but you never know what future endeavors might be inspired by someone picking up a pen and starting to write.
