Quick Review

A quick note on the new Bond movie, Quantum of Solace. It's not what you'd expect from a Bond movie, no Q, no gadgets, no Bond captured and strung up for an elaborate death with just enough time to escape. It's a bit dark, brooding and filled with angst. But it is a good movie in it's own way. And maybe would have been a better film as a non-Bond movie. It opens with a great car chase, Bond driving an Aston Martin, as he should. It ends with Bond driving a Ford, which should never ever happen!
