Tuesday Winners

Three things to be happy about on this cold, dark Tuesday evening:

• The Yankees scored a big win over Tampa Bay! All the starters got to join in the fun with at least one hit. Happy Birthday Bernie!
• The big trees got a win today when US District Judge Charles Breyer halted the Bush administration's bid to keep logging 2,000 acres in Giant Sequoia National Monument.
  
• Blogger Scott McNulty won a promotion because of what his employer saw in his blog. Hopefully a sign of things to come.
