The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay

The story of Sam Clay and Joe Kevalier's foray into the world of comic books is truly a hard to put down amazing adventure. It's been a while since I've been so completely drawn into a book. The exhilirating writing and thorough character development brings the story alive in the kind of way you feel like you're living it. The interspersed tales of the comic book heros the duo create are just as engrossing and could easily stand as stories of their own. It's not often a novel comes along that is so thoughtful, thrilling and complete. If you haven't read this one you definitely should.
