Because it is 2006

I had a day off today and resolved to do errands and attempt to buy some clothes. I did pretty well and actually bought some clothes which doesn't happen very often. Things I bought today:

• TurboTax - gotta get those taxes done
• Quicken Deluxe (1/2 off with TurboTax)
• Spyro - Enter the Dragonfly for Nintendo Gamecube because just about any game is worth $10 and I'll need some relief from doing those taxes
• new pink sweater
  
• new khakis
  
• new really cool skirt on sale which means I need to buy shoes and probably a white sweater which is exactly the reason I never wear skirts I buy
  
• DVD shelf at Hold Everything closeout sale
• cedar clothes hangars at above mentioned sale
• lots of good stuff at Trader Joe's
• plane ticket to Minneapolis using frequent flier miles, which for some reason cost me $5.00 why are they bothering to charge me $5.00 when they are willing to give me space on their plane for free?

Things I did not buy:

• Pink and green striped polo shirt - I think I have one in my closet from 1985
  
• Apple HiFi - this may be the single ugliest thing to come from Apple since that pink and green decade.
