Bedraggled

This afternoon was time for the annual bathing of the Notorious KAT.  She missed the last four and was on the verge of skanky. A fellow cat owner used to preach that cats are self-cleaning. Yes up to a point but every few years even a sterile animal like the cat needs a bath. Today I was at Petco buying cat food. Food that I buy every three weeks because if I buy the bigger 7lb bag it goes stale and she starts vomiting every two days. Anyway perusing the cat shampoos I decided I to buy the Tails Natural Wheatgrass Shampoo designed to deeply clean and condition while offering the remarkable healing properties of Wheatgrass. It seemed to be the most natural and not knowing how much of it she would lick off herself I wanted something that wouldn’t upset the delicate stomach. I didn’t realize it cost more than my shampoo. But it should last for ten years so it could be considered a bargain.  The whole experience went well enough, maybe I’ll get back on the annual schedule.
