I was born and bred a Yankees fan and that will never change. Wherever I live when I go to a baseball game it's usually because the Yankees are playing and so I never have a problem finding something to wear from my plethora of Yankees gear. However living in Oakland I find myself having the occasion to attend various A's games when they are not playing the Yankees. So what to wear? I do have a fondness for the A's stemming from Rickey Henderson and the Bash Brothers. How can you not love a team dressed in yellow and green with an elephant mascot? With a game coming up on Wednesday and more non-Yankee affairs this summer, I feel it's time I take the plunge and buy some A's gear. A long sleeve garment is needed since evenings are usually cool, and a hat for the sun would be nice and there is a cool bracelet. It's one more step toward calling Oakland home.
