After 10 months and hours I've lost count of hours I am declaring I have finished
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. I defeated the big boss at the end, watched all the characters celebrate, completed many of the side quests, collected all the hearts, caught a few fish and though there are a few more things that could be done I'm satisfied enough to say I'm finished. That's the marvel of Zelda, there's always more to be done. The side quests and mini games are just as fun as pursuing the main adventure. After fighting your way through an exhausting deep dark dungeon you can spend a few hours collecting bugs or flying through a maze collecting fruit or just sailing around on the wings of a cuckoo to enjoy the view. To get the most out of Zelda you have to buy into the world and the story and the fun. I love how every time you find a high value rupee the screen lights up with a message "You got an orange rupee (100)!", it just makes me happy though I can see how to some people that's just annoying. Twilight Princess starts a little slow but once you have the basic items and the ability to transform into a wolf at will the payoff is fantastic. After spending so many hours swinging the Wii controller around like a sword I can't imagine playing a video game any other way. I'll probably go back to the game to catch a few more fish, maybe look for the rest of the Poe's. I'm not quite ready to say goodbye to Link just yet.
