Ceramics, Beginning week 9

At the start of ceramics I thought ten weeks is a long time for a class, most are 6-8 weeks but I was determined to try it and attend every class. Now at week 9 I realize ten weeks isn't long enough. I just got the hang of making stuff at week eight. I still have stuff to be fired, my best pot is still to wet to trim and there's glazing to be done. The instructor assured me the ten weeks was a loose term and I could still come back to finish up any pieces I didn't get to. The glazing I think went fairly well tonight but there's no way to know until it's fired. All was fine until the instructor declared we were having a potluck next week. Apparently he forgot to mention this on the first night of class. I took the class to make pots not use them!
