Eating tuna all by myself

Now that the Kat has permanently departed this world there's a certain quietness around the house. All the cat hair coverings have been removed from the furniture, all the dishes and toys thrown away. No waking up to incessant meowing in the middle of the night. But I am stuck with a few too many cans of tuna. With the pet food recalls I stopped buying "tuna for cats" and spent the extra dime per can to buy the real thing. The kat only ate the tuna as a snack so I ended up throwing most of it away after a few days of being in the fridge. Or sometimes I would make a tuna sandwich for myself since I was opening the can anyway. But there's really no point in opening a can of tuna and going through the trouble of mixing it with mayonnaise for a sandwich just for myself. Not that a can of tuna takes up that much space, and it keeps a long time, probably longer than the mayonnaise. So my guess is the tuna will sit in the cupboard until one day I'll move and pack it up to be put in a new cupboard with all the other things I'm never actually going to eat.
