Different Week Same Story

Every week I head over to the farmer's market promising myself I'm not going to pay the outrageous amount the locals charge for blueberries. And every week when I pass by the blueberry stand I fork over my $6 for a pint of berries. I just can't help it and blueberries make me that happy that I don't really mind. Then I go to the strawberry vendor thinking a $2 basket of strawberries is a good, inexpensive way to add fruit to yogurt and cereals. Then I feel guilty about not buying organic so I end up choosing the organic strawberries for $3.50. And every week the guy says do you want 2 for $5 and of course I do. It's more strawberries for only another $1.50. I walk home thinking wow I just spent $11 on fruit most of which I was trying not to buy. Then I stop and sit on a bench overlooking the estuary eating my blueberries and strawberries and know it's worth every penny.
