Wow! Springtime at the
Minnesota Landscape Arboretum is just breathtaking. The Arboretum is a pretty green place. All that green is pretty fantastic in its own way, the many many blossoms just add to the joy. And when the azaleas suddenly appear in a undulating rows it's like fireworks.
Yellow, orange, pink in more shades than you can imagine. I wish I had had my watercolors with me, not that I can paint anything that spectacular. There were people painting in the sunshine, and I envied them. I took some photos, which don't quite capture the vividness of the colors but I may use some day as an inspiration. The arboretum is one of those places I wish I had visited more often when I lived in Minneapolis. It certainly made my trip to Minnesota last week a bit more colorful!
